On 14 March 2024 the Secretary of State for Energy Security and Net Zero confirmed with modifications the Orsted Hornsea Project Three (UK) Limited (Ferry Road, Hartlepool) Compulsory Purchase Order. The Order enables Hornsea Three to acquire new rights in, on and over the section of Ferry Road shown coloured blue on the enclosed map (the “Order land") to enable it to access the Site and to lay, use and maintain new utilities required to construct and operate the ANS on the Site.
Notice of Confirmation of the Order will be published in the TeessideLive (in print and online) on 11 April 2024, from which date the Order will become operative. A copy of the confirmed Order and Map may also be inspected at Community Hub Central, 124 York Rd, Hartlepool TS26 9DE and may be seen on Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays, 10am to 4pm.
