Public consultation on decommissioning Hornsea 3 Offshore Wind Farm now live

Ørsted’s public consultation on the decommissioning of its Hornsea 3 Offshore wind farm is now open and will run until Sunday 30th June 2024.

Although the Hornsea 3 Offshore Wind Farm has not yet been built, as part of the construction process Ørsted must outline how the offshore wind farm will be taken down or ‘decommissioned’ at the end of its life.

In other words, the purpose of the Decommissioning Programme is to provide preliminary information on the methods and approaches on how the offshore components will be decommissioned at the end of the operational lifetime of the Project.

More information, including how to obtain a copy of the Decommissioning Programme and to offer comments is available here
